About the Role
The Med Tech administers or assists with self-administration of prescribed medication under RN/LPN supervision, maintains accurate medical records, completes annual medication training, and ensures resident care aligns with individual care plans. What You Bring
Candidates must have completed Medication Technician training with periodic competency testing, be able to administer medication per state regulations, and possess strong communication skills to report any changes in residents' condition. A high school diploma or equivalent and at least six months of experience caring for seniors in personal care, home health, hospital, or long-term care settings are required. Availability to work weekends and holidays and knowledge of HIPAA policies are also essential. The role requires standing, walking, sitting, fine and gross motor skills, and the ability to lift or carry up to 50 lb, with intermittent activity such as supporting residents, using proper body mechanics. • Complete required annual medication training. • Hold Medication Technician certification with periodic competency testing. • Demonstrate strong communication skills and report changes in resident condition. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • Minimum six months experience caring for seniors in personal care, home health, hospital, or long‑term care settings. • Available to work weekends and holidays. • Ability to lift or carry up to 50 lb and use proper body mechanics.

Benefits
The Medication Technician reports to the Director of Health & Wellness and is a non-exempt, hourly position. This per-diem role offers a salary of $23–$24 per hour and involves providing quality care and services to residents and their families, including medication assistance according to care plans and physician orders. Per-diem employees receive a flexible schedule, on-the-job training, and free parking.
