What You Bring

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited institution, preferably in Computer Science or Engineering, and have at least seven years of deep domain experience designing, developing, and deploying software for utilities. Additional qualifications include five or more years of technical sales experience with modern software technologies such as cloud/SaaS, AI/ML, edge computing, analytics, and cybersecurity, as well as five years of consultative software selling to executive and technical buyers in the utility sector, translating business use cases into solution requirements and architecture documentation. Position criteria require the ability to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship and a strong fluency in emerging utility industry trends—such as transmission and distribution planning, secure device communications, demand response, microgrids, virtual power plants, and system protection. The candidate must communicate effectively at all levels, build long‑term relationships, collaborate across product, delivery, and engineering teams, drive innovation, and act as a change agent bridging business, operations, and IT stakeholders. • Hold a bachelor's degree in a STEM field, preferably Computer Science or Engineering. • Minimum of 7 years experience developing and deploying software for utilities. • 5+ years technical sales experience with cloud/SaaS, AI/ML, edge computing, analytics, and cybersecurity. • 5+ years consultative selling to utility executives and technical buyers, translating use cases into solution architecture. • Eligible to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship. • Deep knowledge of emerging utility trends: T&D planning, secure communications, demand response, microgrids, virtual power plants, system protection. • Strong communication skills across executive and technical audiences; ability to build long‑term relationships. • Collaborative mindset to influence product, delivery, and engineering teams and drive innovation.
