About the Role

The Vice President will contribute to WSP’s four strategic pillars: Clients – growing market share and representing the firm in higher‑education and healthcare events; People & Culture – attracting talent, fostering an inclusive environment, and mentoring staff; Operational Excellence – improving processes, monitoring KPIs, and resolving conflicts; and Expertise – leveraging technical knowledge to enhance service offerings and drive innovation. • Develop new healthcare client relationships and expand existing accounts. • Lead project teams delivering electrical engineering solutions for healthcare facilities. • Allocate roughly 25% of time to business development and 75% to project execution. • Coordinate local client activities and cross‑selling with regional and national teams. • Represent WSP at industry events to gather market intelligence and build pipelines. • Foster an inclusive, collaborative work environment and mentor junior staff. • Drive operational excellence through process improvements and KPI monitoring. • Leverage WSP’s technical expertise across markets to deliver integrated solutions. • Ensure compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards. • Manage electrical planning, design, and construction for renovations and new builds. • Maintain a strong local network and reputation within the community.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering, possess a Professional Engineer license, and have at least 12 years of healthcare industry experience in engineering management, business development, or operations. Required skills include extensive electrical design knowledge for healthcare facilities, a strong local network, proficiency with codes and regulations, and a proven safety record. Mentoring and staff development experience are also essential. Preferred qualifications include LEED AP certification, 10+ years of project management experience, and expertise in quality‑assurance reviews.
