About the Role

The Senior Corporate Accountant will lead the accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls for several branch locations. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial results, driving process improvements, supporting operational leaders with financial insights, and ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and company policies. The position requires both a hands‑on approach to day‑to‑day accounting and the ability to lead a high‑performing team through growth and change. • Prepare and consolidate financial statements for multiple branch entities. • Assist in month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes with accuracy and timeliness. • Perform variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance. • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts for all branches. • Ensure proper allocation of revenues, expenses, and intercompany transactions. • Manage journal entries and account reconciliations. • Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable financial regulations. • Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits. • Develop and implement effective internal controls across branches. • Track private‑equity portfolio company performance and related financial metrics. • Coordinate with branch‑level finance teams to ensure consistent accounting practices. • Provide support and training to branch staff on accounting systems and processes. • Leverage accounting software to streamline financial processes across branches. • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency. • Build a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement. • Partner with corporate finance to streamline reporting and transaction processing. • Identify and implement process efficiencies in accounting, reporting, and controls. • Support systems integrations, M&A activities, and organizational change as needed.

What You Bring

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail‑oriented Senior Corporate Accountant to join our growing organization. The role will oversee accounting operations for multiple branch entities, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and delivering accurate and timely financial reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of private‑equity accounting, multi‑entity consolidations, and advanced financial reporting skills. • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA preferred. • 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in private equity or multi‑entity environments. • Strong knowledge of GAAP, consolidations, and financial reporting. • Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage Intacct or NetSuite and advanced Excel skills. • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. • Familiarity with private‑equity fund structures and reporting requirements. • Experience in multi‑branch or multi‑entity accounting.
