About the Role

• Analyze and compile record data to produce complete boundary surveys with accurate property line locations. • Perform quality‑control reviews of reports, plans, specifications, cost estimates, and other contract documents for accuracy and completeness. • Assist staff in preparing reports, findings, plans, and other contract documentation. • Organize and coordinate field and office staff to complete design, field, or other tasks on complex projects. • Help develop project and task work plans and provide direction to meet project objectives. • Monitor the work of assigned staff, sub‑consultants, and contractors to ensure progress.

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a CADD Operator for its Survey/Geospatial team in the New York metropolitan area. This office‑based, design‑focused role converts field data into precise survey deliverables that support transportation projects. Candidates with AutoCAD and survey‑mapping experience will work on high‑profile projects while advancing their careers. • High School Diploma/GED required; Associate degree or equivalent technical experience preferred. • Minimum 1 year of surveying experience; DOT project experience preferred. • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D required; MicroStation, InRoads/OpenRoads highly preferred. • Skilled in various data techniques, coding systems, and advanced surveying instruments and computations. • Strong knowledge of angular/linear measurement systems, trigonometry, and geometry. • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle (MVR monitored). • Ability to read, write, and understand English for job‑related communications. • Construction surveying and 3D scanning registration experience considered a plus.
