Rental HVAC Branch Associate

About the Role

The Rental HVAC Branch Associate works under moderate supervision and is tasked with troubleshooting technical problems, determining solutions according to product and customer specifications, and recommending actions to customers. Key responsibilities include extensive daily driving to multiple customer sites, delivering, picking up, and installing new or rental portable air‑conditioning and heating equipment. The associate also provides product and technical support, conducts technical training and product briefings for customers, ensures the fleet and accessories are cleaned, maintained, organized, and ready to rent, and keeps the warehouse and trucks operating efficiently. All required paperwork, such as order write‑ups and rental or sales agreements, must be completed and submitted according to policy. • Drive daily to multiple customer sites for deliveries, pickups, and equipment swaps • Deliver, pick up, and install rental portable air‑conditioning and heating units • Provide product and technical support under moderate supervision • Conduct technical training and product briefings for customers • Troubleshoot technical issues and recommend solutions per product specifications • Ensure fleet and accessories are cleaned, maintained, organized, and ready to rent • Maintain warehouse and trucks for optimal efficiency • Complete and submit required paperwork, including order write‑ups and rental/sales agreements

What You Bring

Required qualifications are a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of experience in a mechanical or technical field, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50 lb frequently and up to 75 lb occasionally. Preferred qualifications include excellent verbal and written communication, strong phone and organizational skills, keen attention to detail, basic mechanical abilities, and comfort using hand tools. • Require high school diploma or GED and at least one year of mechanical or technical experience • Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to lift 50 lb regularly, up to 75 lb occasionally • Preferred: strong communication, phone and organizational skills, attention to detail, basic mechanical skills, and comfort using hand tools
