About the Role
Each day you will service trucks and equipment that serve over 20 million customers, using modern tools and procedures to maintain diesel and, at some locations, CNG fleets. Key duties include inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems; estimating time and material costs; adhering to Standard Labor Repair Times; responding to emergency breakdowns; performing safety checks; documenting parts usage and repair times; handling driver vehicle inspection reports; and keeping the work area clean and compliant with OSHA standards. • Work in a repair/maintenance shop at Tampa, FL hauling site • Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment • Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts • Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs) • Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns • Conduct safety checks on vehicles • Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage and accounting for repair times • Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports • Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA Standards and established safety procedures • Work both inside garage/shop/gas plant and outside in inclement weather, heat and humidity

What You Bring
Candidates must have at least four years of relevant experience, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, be over 18, legally eligible to work in the United States, capable of meeting the physical demands, and able to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and physical. Ideal team members are collaborative, care about their coworkers, can work independently when needed, thrive on variety, and demonstrate strong problem‑solving determination. The role requires frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, climbing, and constant standing, walking, and grasping, with occasional sitting; workers are regularly exposed to cuts, burns, toxic chemicals, dirt, noise, odors, and extreme weather conditions both indoors and outdoors.
