About the Role

Key duties include operating motor graders and other grading equipment to complete fine grading tasks, performing daily pre‑ and post‑operation inspections, conducting routine servicing and maintenance, and maintaining effective communication with supervisors and crew. The operator must adhere to all company policies and OSHA/MSHA/Environmental safety regulations. • Operate motor grader and related grading equipment for finish‑grade tasks. • Perform daily pre‑ and post‑operation inspections with proper documentation. • Conduct routine servicing and maintenance as directed. • Follow all company policies and OSHA/MSHA/Environmental safety regulations. • Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members. • Use hand tools, tape measure, read grade stakes, and operate equipment with both hands and feet.

The company is seeking an experienced Motor Grader “Finish Grade” Operator for its Cookeville, TN and Upper Cumberland operations. This full‑time, permanent position works a day shift, may require weekend and overtime work, and includes extensive medical and retirement benefits. Applicants need a minimum of 1–3 years of finish‑grade experience, with GPS control experience preferred, and must be dedicated to safety, flexible for overtime, weekends, or nights, and possess a valid driver’s license. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 100 lb, work in noisy, all‑weather conditions, use hand tools, read grade stakes, and operate equipment with both hands and feet. • Minimum 1–3 years finish‑grade experience; GPS control experience preferred. • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and night shifts as needed. • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record. • Physical ability to lift up to 100 lb, climb, crawl, and work in noisy, all‑weather conditions.
