About the Role
The Driver – CDL (B) is responsible for safely operating a collection truck to provide prompt and courteous waste removal services while adhering to all company, state, and federal regulations. The role requires maintaining the vehicle in compliance with safety standards, completing necessary documentation, and working collaboratively with dispatchers, customers, and coworkers to ensure efficient service. • Conduct pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections and complete daily VCRs. • Safely operate the collection truck along assigned routes, load, compact, and dispose of waste. • Communicate courteously with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers to ensure timely service. • Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers and monitor waste for compliance. • Clean accidental spills and maintain vehicle cleanliness to reduce downtime. • Complete route, productivity, and other required reports accurately. • Follow all safety policies, participate in the ReSOP program, and uphold company standards. • Provide excellent customer service with honesty, time management, and follow‑through.
