About the Role

Candidates must be currently enrolled in an accredited post‑secondary engineering program and have at least a high school diploma or GED. Essential skills include a basic understanding of engineering, geometric, and algebraic principles and proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred qualifications include completion of two years of civil engineering coursework, experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation, and a strong interest in transportation and infrastructure. Interns are expected to follow directions from peers and supervisors and become familiar with introductory shop‑drawing and submittal procedures. • Use Microsoft Office Suite proficiently. • Understand introductory shop drawing and submittal procedures. • Complete at least two years of civil engineering coursework (preferred). • Possess AutoCAD and/or MicroStation experience (preferred). • Demonstrate strong interest in transportation and infrastructure (preferred).

Benefits

The approximate pay range is $23.18‑$37.92 in New Jersey and $25.28‑$37.92 in Massachusetts, varying with experience, qualifications, and location. Relocation and housing are not provided, and visa sponsorship is unavailable.
