About the Role
The technician performs system commissioning using Johnson Controls tools, troubleshoots basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls issues, and handles warranty calls. They load controller software, conduct complex commissioning and diagnostics on sensors and actuators, calibrate systems, document changes, and maintain communication with contractors or customers. Administrative tasks such as timesheets, expense reports, and on‑site documentation are also required. • Perform system commissioning using Johnson Controls tools • Troubleshoot and resolve basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls issues • Load controller software and conduct advanced diagnostics on sensors and actuators • Calibrate systems with electronic test equipment and document as‑built changes • Complete administrative tasks such as timesheets, expense reports, and on‑site documentation

What You Bring
Candidates need general knowledge of HVAC control systems, strong interpersonal skills, the ability to explain technical information, PC experience with HVAC software, and basic digital literacy. Preferred qualifications include technical certification or an associate degree in a related field, electrical/low‑voltage experience, at least two years of installation or networking experience, and proven HVAC knowledge. • General knowledge of HVAC controls and facilities management systems • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interfacing with customers • Ability to program HVAC software and basic digital literacy • Preferred: Technical HVAC certification or associate degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, Engineering, IT, or related field • Preferred: Electrical/low‑voltage experience and at least two years of installing electronic or mechanical systems
