About the Role

Essential functions include performing commercial renovations and build‑outs, using basic computer skills, adhering to OSHA requirements, and presenting a professional demeanor while communicating effectively with customers to build relationships. • Travel nationwide to perform general handyman tasks on commercial construction projects. • Execute carpentry work including framing, cabinetry, countertops, doors, and windows. • Perform interior and exterior painting and install various flooring types (VCT, LVT, tile, carpet squares, cove base). • Conduct basic plumbing tasks such as installing/replacing sinks, faucets, toilets, and drainage lines (licensed plumbers preferred). • Handle electrical duties including installing light fixtures, switches, outlets, basic data connections, and troubleshooting minor issues (licensed electricians preferred). • Communicate professionally with customers to build relationships.

The national maintenance and construction firm will assign the role to full‑time commercial construction projects across the United States, requiring the candidate to travel regularly. Candidates must be proficient in carpentry (partition framing, metal/wood studs, basic cabinetry, countertops, doors, and windows), painting (interior and exterior), and flooring installation (VCT, LVT, tile, carpet squares, and cove base). Basic knowledge of plumbing (sink, faucet, toilet, and drainage installation; licensed plumbers encouraged), electrical work (light fixtures, switches, outlets, data connections, minor troubleshooting; licensed electricians encouraged), and HVAC refrigeration is also required. • Apply HVAC knowledge, particularly refrigeration systems. • Follow OSHA safety standards and utilize basic computer skills.
