What You Bring
Mortenson is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to partner with the Project Manager from bid preparation through final client acceptance. The role involves leading, coaching, and mentoring project team members while maintaining strong communication across all staff levels. Success requires flexibility, inventiveness, dedication, efficiency, integrity, and confidentiality. • Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, Architectural Engineering, or Construction Management (or equivalent experience) • Minimum six years of relevant experience • Ability to assist with complex projects and manage multiple tasks • Basic understanding of construction law and business practices • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and related web applications • Professional attitude, strong customer service, and effective communication of Mortenson policies • Valid driver’s license • Visa sponsorship not offered; must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

The position offers a base pay range of $102,000 to $137,700, with higher rates for select locations, and eligibility for Mortenson’s incentive plan.
