About the Role
The Field Performance Technician manages, schedules, and completes all service and warranty work for Sunrun’s customers. This role works both independently and as part of the Performance O&M team, collaborating closely with the Branch Manager, Senior Electrical Foreman, Construction Supervisor, and the centralized scheduling Field Service Team. Key duties include organizing the warranty and service schedule, allocating labor resources with the Electrical Foreman and Construction Supervisor, and leading training and onboarding for new field staff. The technician also conducts regular team meetings to share best practices, strives to exceed KPI targets such as turnaround time and dispatch volume, and assists with inspections and site audits when needed. • Organize and maintain warranty and service schedule • Allocate labor resources with Electrical Foreman, Construction Supervisor, and Branch Manager • Train and onboard Field Service Technicians and Communications Technicians • Lead regular team meetings on best practices • Achieve or exceed KPI targets such as turnaround time and dispatch volume • Perform site inspections and audits as assigned

What You Bring
Applicants must have 1–3 years of field construction or solar experience, a high‑school diploma, and a clean driving record with a valid driver’s license (age 21+). PV design or electrical experience is preferred, and an Electrical Journeyman certification or license may be required depending on state regulations. The role demands strong knowledge of the NEC and related codes, the ability to interpret single‑line drawings and PV systems, and solid customer‑service skills.
