About the Role

In this role you will manage master planning, purchasing activities, and material processes to ensure seamless production execution. You will drive supplier performance, align material supply with production plans, and optimize inventory while complying with nuclear, HSE, and organizational standards. Your efforts enable on‑time delivery and operational excellence across the supply chain. • Manage master planning, material processes, and systems for the Houston industrial valve site. • Prepare and update production schedules based on purchasing needs and operational requirements. • Drive process improvements to increase visibility of material availability across product lines. • Ensure material alignment with production plans and KPIs through coordination with materials teams and suppliers. • Optimize inventory levels and improve inbound shipment processes from external suppliers. • Exchange data on product, process, and procedural improvements with cross‑functional teams. • Implement standardized manufacturing processes and updated procedures from other functions. • Obtain nuclear purchasing certifications and manage operations per nuclear guidelines. • Improve on‑time delivery through effective material alignment. • Track and maintain visibility of short‑cycle purchase orders. • Place, review, and manage purchasing activities for internal and external suppliers. • Manage supplier performance, metrics, and accountability. • Collaborate with quality team to resolve nonconformance and return‑to‑vendor issues. • Participate in daily warehouse and virtual meetings with cross‑functional and global teams. • Complete all HSE and compliance training per Baker Hughes policies. • Oversee external supplier network from purchase order placement to invoice reconciliation.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree (or high school diploma/GED with 4+ years manufacturing experience). • Minimum 3 years experience in Materials Planning & Execution and/or sourcing and procurement. • Strong oral and written communication skills. • Interpersonal and leadership capabilities with ability to influence and lead small teams. • Experience leading moderate‑scope initiatives and coordinating multiple projects. • Strong problem‑identification, solution‑development, analytical and organizational abilities.
