About the Role

The role supports construction projects by assisting craft workers with physical labor, maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient job site, and contributing to overall project success. The employee will follow company safety policies, signal equipment operators, perform concrete work, and handle various hand‑tool tasks such as leveling earth, mixing and finishing concrete, and applying protective coatings. Additional duties include maintaining tools, traveling to different sites on short notice, and performing other tasks as assigned. • Promote and comply with all Company and safety policies and procedures • Complete all required Safety documentation • Signal operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment, movement and adjustment of machinery to load, offload, push and pull • Level earth to fine grade specifications using shovel or other hand tool • Mix concrete or grout using portable mixer • Position, join, align and connect pumps, motors and other mechanical or metal parts • Spray materials such as water, sand, steam, vinyl, paint or stucco through hose to clean, coat or seal surfaces • Apply caulking compounds by hand or with caulking gun to seal crevices • Grind, sand or polish surfaces such as concrete and steel, using abrasive tools or machines • Perform tasks involving use of hands and tools such as torqueing/tensioning bolts and studs, assembling metal parts, building bolt cages, vibrating concrete, sawing lumber, dismantling forms, removing forms from concrete, demolitions, cleanup, and use of jackhammers • Provide assistance on the site as needed • Perform care and maintenance of assigned tools • Perform physical labor on construction sites

What You Bring

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED with six to twelve months of construction experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. A strong safety mindset, the ability to read and interpret safety and procedural documents, basic arithmetic for measurements, and an understanding of force, pressure, and torque are required, along with the ability to follow precise instructions. • Smooth and finish freshly poured concrete using float, trowel or screed • Mop, brush or spread paints or bituminous compounds over surfaces for protection • May be required to travel to different jobsites on limited notice • High school diploma or GED with 6–12 months construction experience (or equivalent training/experience) • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals • Basic arithmetic skills for measurements, units, weight, volume, force, pressure, and torque • Common sense to follow written or oral instructions • Ability to work to precise accuracy and follow established procedures
