About the Role

The engineer will develop roadway and Temporary Traffic Control Plans, produce calculations and drawings for expressway, limited‑access, arterial, and local roads, and create 3D corridor models using Open Roads Designer. Coordination with other disciplines, innovative problem solving, task assignment and tracking for technicians and designers, as well as preparation of engineering reports and presentations are also key responsibilities. Maintaining accurate timesheets, expense reports, and contributing to team mentorship round out the role. • Develop roadway and Temporary Traffic Control Plans (TTCP) designs, calculations, and drawings for expressway, limited‑access, arterial, and local roads using DOT or local criteria. • Create 3D corridor models in Open Roads Designer. • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, propose innovative design solutions, and present them in internal and external meetings. • Assign, track, and review tasks of technicians and designers to ensure compliance with project criteria. • Prepare engineering reports and plans for review, and maintain accurate timesheets and expense reports. • Mentor team members and support their professional development.

In this role you will receive training and mentorship while applying engineering theories and practices, gaining exposure to company standards and exciting projects. You will work within a multi‑discipline team on Alternative Delivery contracts. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering and be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE). A minimum of six years of relevant experience is required, and no security clearance is needed. The position offers a salary range of $72,900 to $127,600 and emphasizes continuous career development and employee wellbeing. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering and a Professional Engineer (PE) license. • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience; no security clearance required.
