About the Role
The Logistics Analyst is responsible for coordinating drivers, trucks, and containers to create capacity, maximize productivity, and deliver prompt, courteous, and efficient service to all customers. This role also oversees safety, customer experience, and overall productivity. Key duties include ensuring compliance with safety policies, analyzing daily route information, and using the internal routing platform to standardize and improve route efficiency. The analyst must respond to same‑day changes, verify route closures, and proactively resolve problems that arise while trucks and drivers are in transit. The analyst maintains constant communication with drivers to monitor progress, provides necessary information, and evaluates driver performance. Responsibilities also cover optimizing route sequencing, maximizing capacity and profitability, and managing swing‑route opportunities and disposal plans. Customer experience is a central focus; the analyst interacts courteously with customers, monitors call‑center updates, and addresses missed pickups or service commitments to uphold universal service commitments. • Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures. • Analyze daily route information and adjust routing for efficiency and accuracy using the internal platform. • Respond to same‑day changes and next‑day planning to maintain on‑route efficiency. • Verify route closure data for accuracy and durability. • Proactively resolve issues while trucks and drivers are in transit. • Manage driver safety, security of assets, and provide direction to drivers. • Collect and analyze logistics data (inventory, asset reliability, route data) to improve routing accuracy. • Communicate constantly with drivers to monitor progress and provide necessary information. • Evaluate and address driver performance issues. • Optimize route sequencing and capacity to maximize profitability. • Monitor daily routing activities to ensure on‑time pickup and delivery. • Identify and assess swing route opportunities and analyze swing‑percentage trends. • Coordinate disposal plans, recommend optimal sites, and update plans with Operations Manager. • Adjust service requests to improve efficiency while enhancing customer experience.

What You Bring
Qualifications include strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with changing priorities.
