About the Role

The Community Manager reports to the Regional Manager and is responsible for the full spectrum of on‑site operations of a housing community. This includes overseeing personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial management, administration, and risk mitigation while ensuring compliance with Asset Living policies, safety standards, and fair‑housing regulations. • Oversee all on‑site operations, including personnel, leasing, maintenance, finance, administration, and risk management. • Recruit, hire, train, coach, and evaluate staff; create weekly schedules and address performance issues. • Develop and manage annual operating budgets, monitor rent collection, vendor invoices, and ensure accurate financial reporting. • Implement yearly marketing and leasing strategies, show units, process applications, and maintain resident satisfaction through prompt complaint resolution and retention programs. • Lead the emergency response team and ensure compliance with safety, fair‑housing, and OSHA guidelines. • Direct maintenance activities, conduct property inspections, coordinate repairs, and manage vendor relationships to preserve property appearance. • Maintain accurate on‑site software functions and uphold knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements. • Meet physical demands such as standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 lb, and responding to emergencies on evenings, weekends, and nights.

What You Bring

• Hold a high school diploma (Bachelor’s degree preferred); Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) certification preferred; reliable transportation required for on‑call duties.

Benefits

Compensation is based on skill set and experience and includes a salary range of $68,000 to $73,000, commission and performance bonuses, 401(k) matching, comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, accidental and disability insurance, paid sick days, and company holidays.
