About the Role

The Water Resources Coordinator role supports the design and implementation of water‑resource projects for federal, state and local municipalities. Responsibilities include detailed design creation, stormwater analysis, CAD drafting, quantity development, construction‑phase support, quality‑control reviews, and routine engineering tasks, while working independently on small projects or assisting senior engineers on larger ones. • Create detailed designs of water resource projects for federal, state, and local municipalities under Project Engineer direction. • Prepare stormwater analysis plans, study reports, determine design methods, equipment sizing, hydraulic and hydrologic modeling, data collection, and presentations. • Use CAD applications to make redline corrections or prepare design plans with engineer guidance. • Assist in developing construction quantity estimates. • Support construction phase with submittal reviews, design clarifications, and resident engineer services. • Conduct quality control reviews of completed designs. • Assist the Senior Engineer with studies, designs, contract documentation, technical reports, and graphic presentations. • Perform routine engineering assignments applying standard techniques and procedures. • Carry out administrative duties associated with project management. • Work independently on small projects or assist senior engineers on larger projects.

What You Bring

• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification (or placement in Design Coordinator role pending EIT). • Experience with MicroStation (highly desired). • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, standard CAD platforms (e.g., AutoCAD), and hydraulic modeling software. • Self‑motivated and able to work independently and within a project team.
