About the Role

The role involves assisting in the collection, identification, and proper packaging of both hazardous and non‑hazardous waste at client sites, as well as handling administrative tasks and spill response activities as needed. Key duties include making waste pickups throughout a customer's facility, conducting chemical bulking and consolidation, packaging and labeling waste to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance, and ensuring safe loading and unloading of waste hauling vehicles. The position also requires operating forklifts, inspecting drums for container integrity, and completing waste stream sampling and profiling. • Perform waste pickups throughout customer facilities. • Conduct chemical bulking and consolidation. • Package and label waste products for efficiency and compliance. • Participate in spill response on site as needed. • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely. • Inspect drums for integrity and regulatory compliance. • Load and unload waste hauling vehicles safely. • Complete waste stream sampling and profiling. • Use hand and shop tools with accuracy and attention to detail. • Prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities. • Utilize health care and dependent care spending accounts. • Participate in employee assistance and discount programs.

What You Bring

Preferred qualifications include the ability to operate heavy and light equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, proficiency with hand and shop tools, strong accuracy and attention to detail, and the capacity to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities. Minimum qualifications require the ability to pass a 40‑hour HAZWOPER training program upon hire, and a valid driver’s license may be required for some positions. • Pass 40‑hour HAZWOPER training upon hire. • Maintain a valid driver’s license when required.
