About the Role
The Pump and Power Road Technician 2 troubleshoots and diagnoses complex mechanical and electrical equipment problems, performs advanced repairs on all types of equipment, and scopes customers’ needs to provide solutions. In the absence of a Shop Foreman or Service Manager, this role may lead and train other team members in equipment repair. • Troubleshoot and diagnose complex pump, power, and HVAC equipment issues. • Perform advanced repairs on mechanical, electrical, diesel, generator, and compressor systems. • Assess customer requirements and provide tailored equipment solutions. • Lead and train team members in equipment repair when a Shop Foreman or Service Manager is absent.

What You Bring
Successful candidates have 5–7 years of experience repairing and maintaining pump and power equipment, a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record, a DOT physical examination, and EPA Section 608 universal certification. Required knowledge includes advanced understanding of mechanical, electrical, diesel, generator, HVAC, and air‑compressor systems, as well as refrigeration, load‑bank repairs, and electrical engines and controllers. • Must have 5–7 years experience repairing pump and power equipment and a valid driver’s license. • Required certifications include a DOT physical and EPA Section 608 universal certification. • Proven expertise in load‑bank repairs, refrigeration, VFD/VSD controls, and “across‑the‑line” motor starting. • Ability to lift 25 lb, bend, squat, crouch, and work outdoors or indoors as needed.
