About the Role
The Safety Representative provides support to one or more divisions, helping to embed a safety‑sensitive culture within local operations. This role interprets company policies, federal and state regulations, and implements safety programs that promote proactive, sustainable safety behaviors. Key responsibilities include conducting regular safety meetings with drivers, shop, landfill, office staff and management, coordinating accident investigations and follow‑up reporting, and recommending corrective actions. The representative also ensures driver evaluations, administers drug‑testing policies, trains managers on health‑and‑safety regulations, and maintains all accident, workers‑compensation, and driver certification records in compliance with federal and state requirements. Additional duties involve performing employee observations, premises, shop, equipment and vehicle inspections, visiting sites to verify record documentation, participating in serious accident investigations, and providing accident data and reduction goals to division leadership.

What You Bring
Candidates must have prior experience in an OSHA‑regulated environment, a valid driver’s license, and at least three years in a safety‑related role.
