About the Role
The Facility Engineer will support the Facilities Manager across technical services, maintenance, operations, vendor management, finance, contracts, procurement, project management and occupancy services. The role follows the Scope of Work defined in the Service Agreement and delivers services in line with the client’s Service Level Agreement, aiming to meet key performance indicators. Key duties include operating and maintaining site facilities such as cleanrooms, establishing engineering and operational procedures, implementing energy‑management programs, and initiating preventive‑maintenance and performance‑measurement systems. The Engineer also provides early involvement in site inspections, advises on project development, and coordinates minor projects from initiation to completion. Responsibility extends to managing mechanical, electrical, plumbing and civil installations, delivering 24/7 emergency support, and driving innovation programs that reduce utility costs and increase productivity. The role ensures alignment with policies, standard operating procedures, and change‑management controls for critical environments, while maintaining proper engineering documentation. Health, safety and regulatory compliance are central: the Engineer protects staff, adheres to fire, health and safety standards, conducts technical audits, and participates in client‑initiated EHS, business continuity and emergency response programs. Monthly operation and maintenance reports are provided to the client. • Assist the Facilities Manager with technical services, maintenance, operations, vendor management, finance, contracts, procurement, project management, and occupancy services. • Deliver services according to the client’s Service Level Agreement and achieve defined KPI targets. • Operate and maintain site facilities, including cleanroom environments. • Establish and roll out engineering and operational procedures for site staff. • Implement energy‑management programs to reduce utility costs. • Initiate and maintain preventive‑maintenance and quarterly performance‑measurement systems. • Provide early involvement in site inspections, advisory services during project development, and solution provision for minor projects. • Coordinate contractors and vendors from project initiation through completion, managing the M&E scope and ensuring quality deliverables. • Oversee smooth operation of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and civil installations, offering 24/7 emergency support as needed. • Develop and execute innovation initiatives that improve productivity and generate cost savings. • Ensure compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures, and change‑management controls for critical environments. • Maintain accurate engineering documentation and adhere to health, safety, fire, and statutory regulations. • Conduct technical audits, supervise vendor contracts, and verify disaster recovery, business continuity, and escalation procedures. • Provide monthly operation and maintenance reports to the client.
