About the Role
The supervisor will lead a team of electrical workers, ensure high standards of workmanship, oversee daily activities, monitor subcontractor performance, and maintain health, safety, and environmental compliance. They will also support project and contract managers with documentation, prepare monthly progress claims, nurture client relationships, and foster a respectful, skill‑developing team environment. • Lead and supervise a team of electrical workers to ensure high workmanship and productivity • Oversee daily activities and monitor subcontractor performance • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and Zero Harm standards • Assist Project and Contract Managers with contracts, claims, and insurance documentation • Prepare and manage monthly progress claims • Build and maintain strong relationships with client representatives • Foster a respectful, supportive team environment and monitor staff training • Promote a culture of safety, quality assurance, and environmental standards

What You Bring
The advertised role is an ITS Supervisor based in Queenstown, seeking a qualified electrician with leadership experience in Intelligent Transport Solutions. This position provides the chance to manage and supervise electrical work while gaining insight into project and contract operations. Candidates must hold an EWRB practising licence as an Electrician (E) or Electrical Engineer (EE) and have at least one year of experience on ITS maintenance contracts. Strong leadership abilities, health and safety knowledge—including working at heights—and a current NZ driver’s licence are also required. • EWRB practising licence as Electrician (E) or Electrical Engineer (EE) • Minimum one year experience on ITS maintenance contracts • Strong leadership and team development skills • Health and safety knowledge, including working at heights (advantageous) • Current NZ driver’s licence • Pre‑employment drug test, medical assessment and Ministry of Justice check required
