About the Role
• Conduct on‑site training for technicians across the area, ensuring high technical proficiency and safety. • Serve as subject‑matter expert in engine rebuilds and electrical systems, providing advanced technical guidance. • Deliver, assess, and coach training curricula, adapting content to evolving organizational needs. • Perform final evaluations and in‑depth coaching sessions to gauge participants’ outcomes and promote continuous improvement. • Lead and mentor the train‑the‑trainer process for new technicians, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing. • Conduct Train‑the‑Trainer sessions for new or updated courses at the Training Center to maintain consistent, high‑quality instruction. • Travel to multiple locations to attend training on new systems and technologies, staying current with industry advancements. • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop and refine training materials and methodologies for an improved learning experience.

The role blends advanced technical expertise with a passion for teaching and mentoring, aiming to enhance the skills and knowledge of the technician workforce and drive operational excellence. Candidates may need a REAL ID or TSA‑approved alternative for travel or access to federal property. • Minimum 5 years of experience as a technician with a strong record of technical excellence. • Must be at least 18 years old, legally eligible to work in the job location, and hold a valid driver’s license. • Preferred: High school diploma or GED; valid Class B CDL; technical certification or vocational training in automotive technology; journeyman certificate in relevant heavy‑duty equipment trades; certificate in electrical diagnostics; applicable ASE certifications. • Frequently required physical tasks: lift > 50 lb, carry 20‑50 lb, push > 50 lb, pull 20‑50 lb, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, feel. • Constant physical demands: stand, walk, handle, grasp, talk, hear, perform repetitive motions, and coordinate eye/hand/foot movements.
