About the Role

Master Resilience Trainers instruct individuals in holistic strength, conditioning, and resilience to ensure durability. Certified Performance Experts manage training intake, develop plans, prepare and distribute course materials, and facilitate training events while grading student work and logging results in required databases. They assess training impact by distributing surveys, producing After‑Action Reviews within five workdays, and delivering quarterly data analyses. Performance Experts maintain training records, observe instructors, provide delivery feedback, and complete initial instructor certifications. Instruction emphasizes resilience and performance enhancement as it relates to unit missions, leadership training, and building professional climates of trust and cohesion. Experts deliver tailored educational programs and workshops that equip personnel in demanding environments with mental skills and techniques to achieve personal, professional, and family goals. • Instruct individuals in holistic strength, conditioning, and resilience. • Conduct training intake, develop plans, and prepare/distribute course materials. • Facilitate training events, grade student work, and record results in databases. • Distribute post‑training surveys, compile After‑Action Reviews, and provide quarterly analysis reports. • Maintain training records, observe instructors, and give delivery feedback. • Complete required instructor certifications before delivering lessons. • Teach resilience and performance concepts tied directly to unit missions and leadership development. • Build professional climates of trust, team cohesion, and critical‑thinking skills. • Provide tailored educational programs and workshops for personnel in demanding environments.

What You Bring

KBR seeks a Performance Expert to strengthen the physical and psychological health, resilience, and performance of Soldiers, Unit Leaders, Families, and Department of Defense civilians at Army installations. The Resilience Training/Ready and Resilient Performance Center Program provides specialists focused on optimizing mental and physical health and sustains existing Army training and education programs. Candidates must hold a master’s degree from an accredited institution in psychology, counseling, coaching, or kinesiology with a sport/performance focus. Teaching or coaching experience, preferably with military or DoD personnel, and thorough knowledge of Army structure, missions, procedures, regulations, and policy are required. Prior to performing performance‑expert tasks, individuals must be evaluated and certified to ensure effective lesson delivery. Professional certifications or memberships such as the Association for Applied Sports Psychology, Certified Mental Performance Consultant, or American Board of Sport Psychology are preferred, or the ability to obtain one within a year of hire. • Hold a master’s degree in psychology, counseling, coaching, or kinesiology with a sport/performance focus. • Possess teaching or coaching experience, preferably with military or DoD personnel. • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of Army structure, missions, procedures, regulations, and policy. • Obtain or hold professional certifications such as AASP, CMPC, or ABSP, or be able to obtain within one year.
