About the Role

We are seeking skilled HVAC Mechanics with practical experience in HVAC piping, plumbing, pipe‑fitting, and mechanical equipment service. Mechanics must have hands‑on experience with light‑commercial or commercial mechanical equipment and may be required to pass an examination to demonstrate special skills. Scope of work is limited to commercial HVACR service, partnering with journeymen to repair centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, absorption machines, open‑drive screw chillers, and ammonia systems, and to perform maintenance, repair, and replacement on heating and cooling systems. Candidates must be a member, or willing to join, the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry and be dedicated to a North America branch team. Twelve years of commercial/industrial mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience in HVAC, petro‑chemical, or data‑center environments is required, including work on rooftop units, pumps, fans, towers, boilers, chillers, compressors, and plumbing. Ability to lead large complex repairs, install complete systems, conduct shaft alignment, and use vibration equipment for drivetrain diagnostics is essential. Additional qualifications include maintaining ammonia and hydrocarbon safety certifications, holding a universal EPA refrigerant license, applicable state or local licenses, and a valid driver’s license. Strong interpersonal, digital, and written communication skills are needed to explain problems, causes, corrective actions, and to provide quotes and participate in the Service Plus Rewards program. A self‑starter with a passion for learning, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety is expected. • Require 12+ years of commercial/industrial HVAC mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience. • Be a member or willing to join the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices.
