About the Role

Reliability, Maintenance, and Engineering (RME) is hiring a Lead Reliability Technician who will work under the site Reliability Engineer. The role provides local reliability engineering support, assists in managing the site Reliability Program, and oversees the PM Quality Audit Program for high‑criticality assets. It also includes prioritizing PM follow‑ups based on risk, managing the downtime window (DTW) planning process, and supervising the Predictive Maintenance (PdM) team to ensure program health meets network expectations. The Lead Reliability Technician ensures work is performed efficiently with minimal disruption, develops PdM technicians, and handles day‑to‑day reliability functions. Responsibilities include supporting the site RE on OEE, Jam Slayer, process flow, and precision‑maintenance initiatives, as well as providing training on precision maintenance. The role also audits predictive‑maintenance programs, reviews PdM data to create action plans, tracks cost‑savings, and leads innovation initiatives. Additional duties involve acting as the onsite SME for sortation equipment, troubleshooting high‑impact SEV events, conducting root‑cause analyses, and implementing permanent corrective actions. The technician provides training and supervision to expand operations staff capabilities, collaborates with maintenance leadership on critical repair job plans, and works with planners to optimize PMs and DTW strategy. What You Bring

Basic qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or two + years of mechanical/reliability engineering experience, 0‑1 year of lead or supervisory experience, and knowledge of systems engineering and predictive‑maintenance technology. Preferred qualifications add a technical degree (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil), completion of a technical training program, strong mechanical/electrical aptitude, excellent oral and written communication, self‑motivation, basic Microsoft Outlook skills, and relevant certifications such as CRL, Ultrasound Level 1, Vibration Analysis Level 1‑2, and SolidWorks experience. • Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or 2 + years mechanical/reliability experience; 0‑1 year lead/supervisory experience; knowledge of systems engineering and predictive‑maintenance technology. • Preferred qualifications: technical degree (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil), mechanical/electrical aptitude, strong communication skills, certifications (CRL, Ultrasound Level 1, Vibration Analysis Level 1‑2), SolidWorks experience.
