About the Role
The Driver – CDL (B) is responsible for safely operating a collection truck to provide prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services. The role also requires ensuring the vehicle complies with the Company’s safety standards, adhering to all state and federal regulations, and completing daily vehicle condition reports to address any defects. Key duties include performing thorough pre‑ and post‑operation inspections, following route sheets and maps to service each customer, operating manual or automatic controls to lift, load, compact, and dispose of waste, and interacting professionally with customers and dispatchers. The driver must monitor waste for unacceptable material, tag unsatisfactory containers, clean spills, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and complete required productivity and condition reports while meeting productivity standards. • Perform complete pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections daily. • Safely operate a collection truck along assigned routes, loading, compacting, and disposing of waste. • Read route sheets, follow maps, and service each customer as directed. • Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers. • Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers according to procedures. • Clean accidental waste spills and maintain vehicle cleanliness. • Complete route/productivity sheets, vehicle condition reports (VCRs), and other required documentation. • Meet departmental productivity standards while adhering to all safety policies. • Actively participate in the Company’s ReSOP safety program.

What You Bring
Applicants must hold a Class B (or higher) Commercial Driver’s License with an air‑brake endorsement. The position demands strong customer‑service skills, good time‑management, reliable follow‑through, and a commitment to safety policies and company rules.
