About the Role

The Assistant Community Manager supports the Community Manager by overseeing daily operations, financial functions, and rent collection to optimize cash flow. In the manager’s absence, the assistant handles personnel, leasing, maintenance, administration, and risk management while ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and fair‑housing regulations. • Post payments, reconcile receivables, manage bad debt, and process evictions. • Conduct month‑end closing, audit resident files, and handle move‑out charges. • Screen, hire, train, and coach onsite staff while enforcing company policies. • Implement marketing plans, address resident complaints, and run retention programs. • Show, lease, and move in prospective residents efficiently. • Monitor maintenance requests, perform property inspections, and manage vendor bids. • Utilize resources economically and oversee business functions related to operations. • Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 lb, climbing ladders, and working in varied conditions.

What You Bring
