About the Role

The Leasing Manager oversees all leasing and marketing activities at a property, working closely with the Community Manager to set occupancy goals and develop strategic plans. This role leads the leasing team, ensures resident satisfaction, and drives effective marketing and retention programs. • Set leasing goals and create strategic marketing plans to achieve budgeted occupancy. • Lead and coach the leasing team, ensuring effective leasing techniques, accurate documentation, and timely follow‑up. • Audit lease files for policy compliance and handle resident complaints, concerns, and requests. • Design and execute resident retention programs such as events, promotions, and newsletters. • Show, lease, and coordinate move‑ins for prospective residents. • Assist in developing the annual marketing budget and implement campaigns to generate traffic. • Monitor leasing and renewal progress, supervise leasing events, and produce weekly market surveys. • Participate in screening, hiring, training, and performance management of on‑site staff. • Ensure staff adherence to company policies, Fair Housing laws and OSHA requirements. • Manage customer service, service request turnaround, property inspections and timely repairs. • Plan and control property resources, obtain vendor bids, and oversee procurement of supplies.
