About the Role
The Senior Account Executive (SAE) is responsible for prospecting and closing new business‑to‑business sales to meet or exceed budgeted sales goals. The role also develops and implements selling strategies that ensure revenue growth and profitability, while managing existing customer relationships to prevent cancellations, retain business, and grow billable value across assigned accounts. • Prospect and close new B2B sales to achieve or exceed budgeted targets. • Develop and execute selling strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability. • Initiate and nurture business‑to‑business sales relationships. • Maintain a robust sales pipeline and keep key prospect information up to date. • Meet sales call activity goals to proactively retain accounts and prevent cancellations. • Conduct retention calls to increase revenue and improve customer profitability. • Propose solutions that comply with local, state, and federal regulations. • Collaborate with Area Sales Managers to resolve unique customer issues. • Work with Plant and Brokerage Account Managers to upgrade materials and enhance profitability. • Prepare complex proposals and recommend equipment optimization and leasing options. • Stay current on internal sales strategies, operational capabilities, and market trends. • Achieve high customer satisfaction through effective service delivery.

What You Bring
Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree (or an equivalent combination of a high school diploma/GED and four years of relevant experience) and at least four years of direct B2B sales, cold calling, and phone prospecting experience. The position primarily operates in a professional office environment using standard office equipment.

Benefits
Compensation consists of a base salary ranging from $67,000 to $72,000, with commission eligibility. Employees receive a competitive total compensation package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term disability, a stock purchase plan, 401(k) matching, paid vacation, holidays, and personal days, though benefits may vary by site.
