Iowa Data Center Lead

About the Role

The individual will manage multi‑disciplinary design teams from project conception to completion, work closely with Area and Regional Building Engineering Services Business Group Managers and the global TMT client management team, and may travel to client sites or other HDR offices as needed. • Collaborate on development strategies, business prospects, technical services, quality and production methods to meet business goals. • Lead project teams to ensure successful delivery and client satisfaction. • Travel 10‑20% (including international) to project sites as required. • Provide flexible work schedule to support international projects. • Control project budget, scope, and schedule. • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards. • Manage forecasting, invoicing and contracts. • Promote HDR through regular client interactions. • Recruit mission‑critical staff in partnership with the Business Group Manager. • Develop proposal content covering scope, schedule and budget. • Present HDR at interview presentations. • Coordinate with local office principal, business group leads, technical directors and marketing managers.

What You Bring

• Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) certification. • PMP certification. • Proficient in MS Office, MS Project (Access a plus) and familiar with Revit, AutoCAD, BIM360 Docs/Field, Bluebeam. • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities. • Experience with mission‑critical and data‑center facilities clients. • Strong client relationship building and public speaking skills. • Bachelor’s degree in a related field. • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in project management. • Excellent organizational, project management and communication skills.
