About the Role
As a key member of the project team, you will take ownership of day‑to‑day site delivery, ensuring safe, efficient and high‑quality execution of works. You will report weekly and monthly to keep progress and performance on track, and maintain accurate site diaries and project documentation. • Lead general site management and deliver the programme to plan • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environment and quality standards • Maintain accurate site diaries and project documentation • Build strong relationships with subcontractors, stakeholders and internal teams • Provide weekly and monthly progress and performance reports • Oversee a section of works, supervising the site team and supply chain • Deliver RAMS, permits, inductions and safety briefings effectively • Conduct daily, weekly and monthly inspections to BMS requirements • Manage and update QA documentation and ITPs

What You Bring
We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join our Environment Business Division, working on the Southern Water Framework. This role is based in the Southampton area on a major cross‑country pipeline project, a high‑profile scheme where your contribution will directly influence outcomes for communities and the environment. • Proven experience as a Site Manager • Industry qualifications such as HNC/HND or higher • Strong engineering and construction knowledge • Good understanding of legislation, standards and CDM requirements • Experience in water or wastewater treatment or similar sectors • Confident IT skills, including Excel and document management systems • Strong communication, problem‑solving and people‑management capabilities • Relevant certifications: CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid, IOSH (Environmental or equivalent) • Beneficial additional qualifications: Temporary Works Coordinator, Water Hygiene, EUSR 1 & 2 / USC
