What You Bring
Arcus FM is seeking an experienced Building Fabric Maintenance professional to join our facilities maintenance team in the Bristol area. The role involves delivering high-quality planned and reactive maintenance services across a portfolio of multi-site clients. This position offers variety, autonomy, and the chance to showcase expertise in a range of building-fabric tasks. We require candidates with hands-on experience in multiple trades, relevant qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, BTEC or equivalent), a valid UK driver’s licence, and confidence working independently in customer-facing environments. Solid knowledge of health and safety standards and proficiency with handheld IT equipment are essential, while experience in retail or multi-site maintenance is desirable. • Time-served, hands-on experience in multiple trades • NVQ, City & Guilds, BTEC or equivalent qualification in a relevant trade • Valid UK driver’s licence • Ability to work independently and in customer‑facing environments • Proficiency with handheld IT equipment for work management and documentation • Solid knowledge of health and safety standards • Experience in retail or multi‑site maintenance environments (desirable) • Skills in patch plastering and rendering • Carpentry and joinery abilities • Experience with floor and wall coverings such as tiling and vinyl • Basic plumbing competence • Capability to change locks and fittings • General fabric repair expertise • On‑call rota one week in every four
