About the Role

The technician will operate and care for company property, equipment and tooling while servicing solar equipment at multiple plants under supervision. Responsibilities include basic testing, troubleshooting, repair, and part replacement of solar systems, as well as responding to on‑call emergency repairs. All work must be documented accurately and reported according to company procedures. • Perform field maintenance and service solar equipment under supervision. • Conduct basic testing, troubleshooting, and repair of solar components. • Replace or repair solar parts and equipment as needed. • Respond to on‑call emergency repair requests, including weekends or after‑hours. • Prepare accurate documentation and reports for all work performed. • Follow all safety procedures, including Lock Out/Tag Out and NFPA 70E certification. • Operate and maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles safely. • Adhere to company policies, maintain excellent attendance, and support a positive team attitude.

What You Bring

Performance will be measured by successful completion of safety and technical training, adherence to policies, punctuality, and customer satisfaction, as well as personal professional growth and a positive team attitude. Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED (vocational training a plus) and demonstrate experience in a mechanical/electrical environment. A basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and solar installation systems, ability to perform Lock Out/Tag Out, and proficiency with testing equipment and computer applications are required. NFPA 70E safety certification and a valid driver’s license with a clean record are also mandatory. The position involves frequent exposure to outdoor weather, vibration, dust, fumes, and potential electrical hazards. Physical requirements include stooping, bending, reaching, lifting 50 lb or more, occasional climbing, and working at heights or in confined spaces. • Meet minimum qualifications: high school diploma/GED, mechanical/electrical experience, basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and solar systems, computer proficiency, and a valid driver’s license. • Ability to work in remote locations, extreme weather, and on‑call schedules. • Physical ability to lift 50 lb or more, climb, stoop, bend, and work at heights or in confined spaces.
