About the Role
The role involves safely operating a heavy‑duty commercial truck on swing routes that span residential, commercial, and construction sites. Drivers must navigate varied environments while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. This position is compensated at $29.16 per hour, with the final rate reflecting experience, education, and location. • Operate a heavy‑duty commercial vehicle safely on residential, commercial, and construction routes. • Follow OSHA, DOT, and company regulations; keep vehicle clean and safe. • Complete pre‑ and post‑trip DVIR inspections and record issues. • Report unsafe situations, incidents, accidents, or property damage immediately. • Attend all required trainings, briefings, and meetings. • Collaborate with Route Managers to improve route efficiency and address unsafe accounts. • Execute assigned duties, assist other drivers, and follow dispatch instructions. • Communicate customer requests or issues to Dispatch or Route Manager. • Dump containers, remove debris, and leave sites clean. • Position containers upright, replace lids, and avoid blocking driveways. • Submit customer tickets for excess yardage removal. • Complete all route documentation and check‑in at day's end.
