Job Highlights
About the Role
• Advise clients on vendor pre‑qualification, assess proposals and bids, and make final recommendations. • Lead bid interviews, chair appointment processes and manage vendor selection. • Develop full‑project construction cost estimates, review junior estimations, and present value‑engineering and risk assessments to clients. • Oversee cost reporting, forecast budgets, maintain a commercial risk register, and conduct periodic project meetings. • Control payments by assessing applications, recommending contractor entitlements, and managing change orders and disputes. • Monitor invoicing, benchmark performance, and manage final accounting, post‑contract audits and close‑outs. • Conduct post‑contract reviews, capture lessons learned and create training manuals and handover procedures. • Utilize bid analysis sheets, change control forms, cost‑estimating and take‑off software; adhere to applicable SOX controls.

What You Bring
• Minimum 3‑5 years experience in construction cost management; bachelor's degree in related field; RICS accreditation valued. • Experience on medium‑to‑large construction projects, preferably in consultancy; strong knowledge of procurement routes, value management and engineering; excellent communication skills.
