About the Role

The Technical Lead will design and develop robust Salesforce.com solutions, partner with UI/UX leads, product owners, delivery leads, and architects, and evaluate user requirements. They will recommend integration approaches for legacy systems, create design documentation, enforce configuration and development best practices, conduct peer code reviews, and maintain object schemas and queries while ensuring code quality and performance. • Design and develop robust, maintainable Salesforce.com solutions. • Collaborate with onshore/offshore teams, UI/UX leads, product owners, delivery leads, and technical architects. • Evaluate user requirements and recommend integration approaches for legacy systems. • Create design documentation and enforce best practices for Salesforce configuration and development. • Conduct peer code reviews, manage object schemas, queries, and ensure solution performance. • Guide and mentor a team of Salesforce Developers in an agile environment.

Johnson Controls is seeking a skilled and experienced Salesforce Technical Lead in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. The role involves translating complex product requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions on the Salesforce platform, collaborating with onshore and offshore teams in an agile environment, and guiding a team of Salesforce Developers while ensuring best practices throughout development. Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with at least five years of experience developing, administering, and configuring Salesforce.com solutions. Required expertise includes Apex, integration, data manipulation, security, VF Pages, Aura, LWC, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, database design, and SaaS application development. Familiarity with single sign‑on, authentication frameworks, cloud platforms, version control, CI/CD, Agile/Scrum, and strong communication skills is essential, and Salesforce Platform Developer I/II certifications are highly preferred. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). • Minimum 5 years of Salesforce.com development, administration, and configuration experience. • Proficient in Apex, integration, data manipulation, security, VF Pages, Aura, LWC, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML. • Experience with database design, SaaS application development, and design patterns. • Knowledge of single sign‑on, authentication frameworks, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) preferred. • Familiarity with version control systems (GitHub, Azure Repos), CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum tools (Jira, Azure Boards). • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills; Salesforce Platform Developer I/II certification preferred.
