About the Role
The Driver – CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck to provide prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services. The role also ensures the vehicle complies with the company's safety standards and all applicable regulations, and completes daily vehicle condition reports. Key duties include conducting thorough pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections, following assigned routes and maps, loading and compacting refuse, disposing of material at designated facilities, and maintaining accurate productivity and condition reports. The driver interacts professionally with customers, dispatchers, and teammates, monitors waste quality, tags unsuitable containers, and cleans any spills according to safety policies. Participation in the company’s ReSOP safety program and adherence to productivity standards are required. • Perform pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections and report safety issues. • Safely operate the collection truck on assigned routes, load refuse, and operate the compactor. • Dispose of collected material at designated facilities and complete required reports (VCRs, productivity sheets). • Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers to ensure timely service. • Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers according to procedures. • Monitor waste for unacceptable material and clean accidental spills following safety standards. • Clean waste from the packer blade and truck body on each disposal trip. • Participate in the ReSOP safety program and adhere to all company safety policies. • Maintain productivity standards and follow‑through on assigned responsibilities.

What You Bring
Applicants must hold a Class B (or higher) Commercial Driver’s License with an air‑brake endorsement. The position also requires strong customer service, time‑management, and follow‑through abilities, as well as a commitment to company policies and safety standards.
