About the Role
You will engage directly with internal teams and external partners to design and implement protection and control solutions, ranging from standard product offerings to custom applications. As an early user of our internally developed control platforms, your feedback will be essential for refining functionality and influencing new features. Your work will involve creating innovative high‑tech products to support electric utilities facing real‑world protection and control challenges, employing both conventional and graphical programming techniques. You will also support product development and testing, ensuring system functionality meets required standards, and share your expertise by delivering training and collaborating on projects of varying complexity. Utilizing state‑of‑the‑art tools and testing equipment, you will simulate, test, and validate protection and control functions, contributing to solutions that comply with industry standards. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to participate in the creation of those standards, further advancing the industry. You will interface with customers to help them customize our products for specific applications, providing guidance on safe programming, operation, and troubleshooting of critical devices. This direct support ensures customers can effectively navigate their protection and control needs.

What You Bring
Success in this role requires strong collaboration with a global team of engineers and developers, adaptable work styles, and robust analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Excellent communication skills are needed to convey complex technical ideas clearly, and the ability to work independently with minimal oversight demonstrates strong initiative and self‑management. • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited institution • Minimum five years of experience in power systems, protection & control, or logical programming • Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Power Systems Engineering • Experience with medium‑voltage IEDs such as protective relays and recloser controls • Knowledge of modern utility automation and protection schemes • Experience in power systems protection, coordination, design analysis, or relaying • Experience in PLC programming, digital logic, combinatorial logic, or IEC 61131 languages • Graduate coursework or degree in Electrical/Power Systems Engineering (preferred) • PE license in Electrical Power (preferred)
