About the Role

You will diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical and automation issues, perform diagnostics and fault‑finding, and provide hands‑on technical support both in the field and remotely. Collaboration with Product Engineering is essential to feed back insights, drive reliability improvements and continuously refine the processes used to deliver UFR systems. As the primary technical contact for customers and sales, you will build strong relationships to support successful system deployment and lifecycle support. • Lead installation, commissioning, SAT/FAT and on‑site testing of UFR automation systems. • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical and automation faults in the field. • Provide first‑line technical support and act as escalation point for customers and sales teams. • Deliver technical feedback to engineering to improve design reliability (MTBF/MTTR). • Prepare systems for site readiness through configuration, calibration and verification. • Travel up to 50 % to mine sites for installation, commissioning and support. • Maintain accurate technical records and ensure compliance with safety procedures.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate is a technically capable professional with a background in mechanical, mechatronic or automation engineering, or equivalent hands‑on experience with heavy equipment or mining systems. You should have practical knowledge of mobile machinery subsystems—including hydraulics, electrical systems, steering and braking—and be comfortable with diagnostics, troubleshooting and system verification. Exposure to mining environments, autonomous technologies, CAN‑bus devices, sensors, PLCs or vehicle‑based control systems, as well as mechanical fitting and electrical assembly skills, is highly valued.
