About the Role

The Assistant Property Manager will oversee estate management for public housing estates, leading property officers, collaborating with Members of Parliament (MPs) and grassroots leaders, handling resident feedback, and coordinating improvement projects. In this role, the incumbent will manage a team of property officers to meet key performance indicators and ensure compliance with government regulations, work with grassroots organisations and agencies on projects to enhance living environments, and plan and implement Town Council improvement programmes while exercising prudent budgetary control. Responsibilities also include engaging residents, conducting random call‑back services, assisting the PR team and grassroots leaders with activities, attending MP house visits and project meetings after hours, handling urgent cases, performing cross‑audits of estate inspections and arrears, serving as secretary for assigned sub‑committees, and supporting the General Manager in Town Council governance and workplace safety. • Lead and develop a team of property officers to achieve KPIs and regulatory compliance. • Collaborate with MPs, grassroots leaders, and government agencies on estate improvement projects. • Manage budgets and implement Town Council improvement programmes with prudent financial control. • Respond to resident feedback, conduct call‑back services, and handle urgent cases. • Perform cross‑audits of estate inspections, arrears visits, and special duties as assigned. • Serve as secretary for sub‑committees and support General Manager in governance and safety culture.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate has proven experience as a Property Officer (PO) or Senior Property Officer (SPO) in township management, a positive service attitude, strong communication skills with external stakeholders and internal customers, teamwork spirit, and preferably a diploma in Building, Facilities Management or related fields. • Demonstrate proven experience as PO/SPO, strong stakeholder communication, and teamwork. • Hold a diploma in Building, Facilities Management or related qualification (preferred).
