About the Role
The role focuses on managing SSA processes, ensuring QMS compliance, and leading cross‑functional initiatives to achieve operational excellence. It requires strong supplier engagement, data‑driven analysis, and the delivery of customer‑centric solutions with measurable impact. • Assist with SSA queries, review request forms, conduct kick‑off meetings, evaluate supplier questionnaires, and identify gaps, risks, and opportunities. • Ensure corrective actions are implemented and verified with supplier evidence. • Maintain SSA documentation per Eaton QMS procedures. • Coordinate cross‑functional teams (Commodity Managers, Buyers, SDEs, SQEs) to address requirements and resolve SSA challenges. • Lead Level‑3 continuous‑improvement projects to boost operational effectiveness and efficiency. • Lead QMS activities for the SSA process, driving change management and standardization. • Deliver SSA training for suppliers and internal stakeholders and measure its effectiveness. • Capture SSA lessons learned, define action plans, and ensure deployment across businesses. • Perform data‑driven analysis to identify performance gaps, conduct root‑cause investigations, and implement corrective actions with tracked effectiveness.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree (BE/B.Tech) or a diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automotive, Production, or Industrial engineering. The position demands a blend of technical expertise—including supplier assessment, core quality tools, and digital technologies—and strong interpersonal abilities such as effective communication, influencing, accountability, decision‑making, analytical problem solving, collaboration across cultures, and team building. • Understand customer requirements proactively and deliver forward‑looking solutions. • 10–14 years experience in supplier quality and development. • Experience working with global customers and suppliers. • Minimum 6 years experience in supplier assessment. • Certified internal auditor (ISO/IATF & AS9100) and Six Sigma Green Belt; CQI, CSQP. • Supplier assessment and audit expertise. • Proficient with problem‑solving tools (8D, A3, VSM, DMAIC, BPI). • Knowledge of core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, CP, SPC, MSA). • Understanding of core manufacturing processes. • Basic knowledge of digital tools and techniques. • Strong verbal, written, and business communication with presentation skills. • Ability to influence customers and suppliers. • High accountability and escalation management. • Effective decision‑making. • Analytical and proactive problem‑solving mindset. • Team building and conflict management.
