About the Role

The Driver – CDL (B) is responsible for safely operating a collection truck and delivering prompt, courteous waste removal services. The role includes ensuring the vehicle meets company safety standards, complying with all state and federal regulations, and completing daily vehicle condition reports to address any defects promptly. Key duties involve performing thorough pre‑ and post‑operation inspections, operating the truck along assigned routes, loading and compacting waste, and interacting courteously with customers and dispatchers. The driver must identify and tag unsatisfactory containers, clean accidental spills, monitor vehicle condition, and complete required productivity and reporting documentation while adhering to safety policies and participating in the ReSOP program. • Conduct full pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections and report safety issues • Safely operate a collection truck along assigned routes, loading and compacting waste • Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers to ensure timely service • Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers according to procedures • Clean accidental waste spills following safety standards • Monitor vehicle condition, clean packer blade and truck body, and report defects promptly • Complete route productivity sheets, vehicle condition reports (VCRs), and other required documentation • Meet departmental productivity standards and adhere to all safety policies • Actively participate in the Company’s ReSOP safety program • Provide excellent customer service, manage time efficiently, and follow company policies

What You Bring
