About the Role
In this role, you will oversee fee proposals, negotiate service agreements, and ensure quality assurance of schedule deliverables while managing staff utilization and team assignments. You will also serve as a trusted internal leader, resolve conflicts, and may testify in construction disputes, delivering reports such as time‑impact analyses, damage quantifications, OKRs, and claims assessments. A key focus is business development: expanding existing client relationships, generating new opportunities, and promoting repeat business through exceptional service delivery and effective communication. You will partner with other service line leaders to provide an integrated project approach and mentor junior staff to develop technical competencies. • Prepare fee proposals and negotiate professional service agreements. • Resolve internal and external conflicts proactively. • Coordinate staff utilization and assign team members to projects. • Provide quality assurance for all schedule deliverables. • Build trust and efficiency within the internal team. • Testify in construction disputes when required. • Produce time impact analysis, damage quantification, OKR, and claims assessments. • Develop new client relationships and expand existing business. • Promote repeat business and generate favorable client references. • Conduct comparative cost analysis and calculate damages. • Coach, mentor, and manage team members, including administrative duties. • Train junior staff to enhance technical skills and competencies. • Develop expertise as a subject‑matter expert in scheduling, quantum, and risk management. • Consult executive‑level clients, showcasing Cumming’s services. • Increase revenue by providing solutions to existing client issues. • Participate in recruitment and development of a diverse talent pool. • Collaborate with other service line leaders for integrated project delivery. • Monitor team performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed. • Communicate organizational direction to senior leaders and team members. • Maintain relationships with regional and global clients and resources.
