About the Role
The leader will drive production performance with integrity and safety, balancing tactical actions and strategic planning to meet demand and resolve issues. Daily collaboration across functional teams ensures seamless order fulfillment, while continuous‑improvement initiatives and cost‑saving projects shape more efficient processes. A core focus is developing shop‑floor talent by building trust, inspiring growth, and providing coaching, training, and performance feedback. The role champions a safe, inclusive environment, enforcing PPE use, equipment protocols, and 5S+ standards. As the primary liaison for management on production matters, the leader assesses workloads, delegates tasks, and maintains appropriate staffing levels. Quality ownership includes investigating defects, acting as the point of contact for resolution, and reinforcing its importance among employees. Partnering with the quality‑control team, the leader monitors market trends and drives corrective actions. Additional duties may arise, and candidates should meet the outlined experience and educational criteria. • Lead production teams with a focus on safety, integrity, and meeting demand. • Drive continuous‑improvement and cost‑reduction initiatives (CI, Kaizen, RIEs). • Develop and coach shop‑floor personnel, fostering trust and performance. • Enforce PPE usage, equipment safety, and 5S+ workplace standards. • Serve as the primary contact for management on production and quality issues. • Allocate workloads, delegate tasks, and ensure adequate staffing. • Investigate and resolve quality problems in coordination with QC. • Review market quality trends and implement corrective actions.

What You Bring
• Minimum 3 years manufacturing experience. • At least 2 years of leadership or people‑management experience. • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related manufacturing/industrial field (preferred). • Proven experience leading lean‑manufacturing CI activities (RIE, Kaizen, capital projects). • Ability to read CAD or Inventor drawings. • Background in fabrication, assembly, or shipping operations.
