Perform quarry labor, equipment operation, maintenance, and safety tasks.
Job Highlights
About the Role
• Perform general plant/mine labor and clean‑up, including shoveling stone from around conveyors. • Conduct plant maintenance tasks such as cutting, welding, changing rollers & bearings, and belt splicing. • Operate equipment like bobcat, skid steer, haul truck, dozer, and track hoe as needed. • Fill in various production positions during vacations, absences, or increased demand. • Run water truck to control dust on roadways. • Report equipment problems to management and help maintain quarry equipment. • Complete daily inspections and pre‑shift equipment reports. • Assist other workers as directed.

What You Bring
• Ability to perform plant clean‑up, production, maintenance, heavy equipment operation, and other duties. • Prior welding and cutting experience preferred. • Experience operating heavy equipment (bobcat, skid steer, haul truck). • Self‑motivated and able to work without constant supervision. • Quick learner with ability to understand safety and work instructions. • Willingness to work weekends and overtime as necessary. • Pass pre‑employment drug screen. • Plant maintenance experience is a plus. • Aggregate operations experience is a plus.
