About the Role
The Assistant Project Manager supports the assigned Project Manager in planning, directing, and completing construction projects, ensuring client satisfaction and financial outcomes. Responsibilities include coordinating staff, communicating with crews and field managers, enforcing safety protocols, fostering client relationships, motivating employees, and monitoring budgets and labor costs to keep projects on schedule and within profit targets. The role requires wearing personal protective equipment, frequent reaching, stooping, kneeling, occasional climbing ladders, and regular interaction with people, while complying with safety standards; it is classified as safety‑sensitive due to potential exposure to equipment and hazardous materials. • Assist Project Manager in directing staff and coordinating contracted projects while maintaining profitability. • Communicate with crews and field managers to ensure projects meet guidelines, budgets, and schedules. • Enforce safety training, conduct meetings, and monitor job sites for hazards. • Build and maintain client relationships, addressing existing and potential issues. • Help plan, motivate, and resolve employee complaints to achieve project goals. • Monitor daily budgets and weekly labor costs, adjusting to meet financial targets.

What You Bring
